Crossroads Art Center is excited to announce an online call for entries for the March 2023 Exhibition. There is no theme for this exhibit. All work submitted must be for sale. Entry fee is $15 per submission for the general public (with a limit of three submissions) and $9 per submission for Current Gallery Members (Current means you are a Gallery Member that has paid for their yearly Membership by December 1, 2022). For New or Renewing Gallery Members the cost will be $12 per submission. All Gallery Members receive a fourth entry for free use Code: 4thFREE
If an artist is not a member and wishes to participate, they may join at the time of entry. Commission on sales is 30%.
Call for Entry Dates: February 1 - 24, 2023
Juried Notification: Tuesday, February 28, 2023
Drop off of juried-in Art for Live Show – Wednesday, March 8 – Saturday, March 11, 2023, at NOON!
Exhibition Opening: Friday, March 17, 2023, 5pm – 8pm
Exhibition End Date: Sunday, May 7, 2023, 4pm
Before submitting artwork, please read and be sure you understand thoroughly procedures and expectations for participating in our 2023 juried all-media shows (AMS).
Issues we encountered you need to be aware of and more clarifying information:
You will need an artist statement - 200 Word limit in first person to enter the shows.
1. You do not have to create a portfolio site to enter the show.
2. The way you fill out the form is how it will be shown on the labels, excel spread sheets, awards, and publicity.
a. Use a capital Letter for your First and Last Name.
b. Make sure Prices are correct - DO NOT USE A COMMA. This produces the wrong price.
c. Vertical Measurements should be first, then Width then Depth (H x W x D)
d. If art is to be framed for display, we need images and measurements of the art in the frame. If we do not have the measurements framed or the image framed, your piece will not be considered to jury. Give us the correct measurements DO NOT GUESS.
e. Statement regarding the piece of art - The character limit is 300!! This is used for all publicity online and inhouse. Spellcheck it as well as word count it!
f. FYI - you do not have to add all the information at once. You can go back in and add images and edit until the call ends.

Crossroads Art Center’s AMS are open to mid-Atlantic artists through a bimonthly call for entries, and cash prizes are awarded for the winners. Each show is juried by a prominent art professional from the community (a gallery director, curator, museum official, arts professor, or accomplished artist). Cash awards are given for 1st $100, 2nd $75, and 3rd $50 place winners. The 2023 AMS shows are exhibited at Crossroads Art Center and as an online exhibition where customers can shop directly from the website.
